Boy, 4, drowns in pool during Narcotics Anonymous holiday – The Times

Police are investigating the death of a four-year-old boy who drowned on the last day of a week-long activity holiday organised by the charity Narcotics Anonymous.
The child, from Weymouth in Dorset, was found in a swimming pool at a centre in north Devon after an extensive search. He was pronounced dead at North Devon District Hospital in Bideford on Sunday afternoon.
A spokesman for the Knapp House Activity Centre at Northam, near Bideford, said: “The group had the use of the pool on a self-supervised basis for recreational use — it was not part of the planned activity program that we provide.
